Carlo Piccinini, presidente di Confcooperative Fedagripesca, ha condiviso le sue preoccupazioni sulle normative UE riguardanti gli imballaggi in plastica durante un'intervista con il giornalista Rocco Viola alla fiera Fruit Logistica a Berlino 2024, presso lo stand del Consorzio AgroPontino. Piccinini critica il nuovo regolamento sugli imballaggi, introdotto dalla Commissione Europea nel novembre 2022, per essere sproporzionato e potenzialmente dannoso per il settore ortofrutticolo, soprattutto per il divieto sugli imballaggi di confezioni inferiori a 1,5 kg.
